The single most important design feature of this box is the wheels on the bottom, so that I can roll it instead of carrying it everywhere. The cardboard box wasn't a lot of fun to carry, since the sides are flexible. Also, the cats like to use the cardboard box to sharpen their claws, which is not good for the strength of the box.

Posted June 17th, 2007 by Clay DowlingI'm about to launch onto my bold river voyage from the downriver end of Flushing City Park to the distant reaches of the upriver end of the park. Not exactly the stuff of The Deerslayer, I'll admit, but considering I was in a canoe generally considered too big for one man, and I have almost no experience on the navigation end of a canoe, it might have been a tad ambitious.
